VW Crafter Automatic Van
If you need a large van with automatic transmission then the Volkswagen Crafter could be the perfect van for you. Not everyone wants the hassle of driving a sizable van in built up areas with a manual gearbox. But, the VW Crafter Automatic with its DSG transmission allows you to stay relaxed while shifting large loads in slow-moving traffic. The worry of changing gear is gone while you are provided with the smoothest of drives with the dual clutch DSG shifting seamlessly.
Although manufacturers such as Peugeot, Citroen and Fiat do large auto vehicles at lower prices, Volkswagen’s Crafter is probably the best large automatic van about. It also has an impressive amount of space and strength. Depending on what size of Crafter you go for, you can get a payload of up to 1400kg and you could fit up to 6 Euro pallets with a load capacity of up to 18.4m3 with the long plus wheelbase. It is also a more than capable tower, too. All this alongside having an automatic gearbox which makes transporting cargo easier.
Please note: Swiss Vans don’t stock any large automatic vehicles which means delivery of the Crafter Automatic would take 12-20 weeks following order. A 10% deposit would be required but your vehicle will be configured specifically for you.
If you’re after another automatic van – maybe a smaller vehicle – then we have a number of options. But, if having an automatic Crafter isn’t essential, we do have the more affordable manual transmission
